The Samsung YP-MT6V 256 MB is a perfect simple to use music player. Things I like most about this is its compact size perfect and stylish look fantastic. So whenever you're not around a computer, simply connect it to a CD or music player holding a helmet and encode an mp3 song. It sounds fantastic and I reckon its much better than the same price iPod Shuffle. Mainly because it can record voice, FM radio, you can record directly from a CD player, and you can see what you hear, unlike the Shuffle with no screen. The only drawback to drive 256 MB is the fact that it holds only 256 mb.
The Samsung YP-MT6V 256 MB Digital Audio Player is a fantastic mp3 player. It is capable of playing all types of codecs, including OGG, which was the huge seller for me. It also has a root directory which means all you have to do is to copy your digital files directly to the player using Windows Explorer. You do not need to use some fancy program further complicates the process. The AA battery is said to last up to 42 hours, and with sound quality and performance of this small gem that is remarkable. It also has an FM transmitter and a voice recorder. Helmet factory produce exceptional sound, so overall it is an brilliant player. Simple to use, and a right digital media player. Highly recommended
I like this unit very well. After my IRiver was stolen, I looked around for a replacement.
The device is simple to use and comes with everything. The software is a bit heavy though. At first I had a split screen to rip songs and see what is on the drive itself, but he's gone and I do not want to reinstall the back. Then you must go to Windows Media Player (I use 9) to transfer music to the device.
I went to rip another CD and just drag files over. Much quicker and much simpler.
I am a runner and the screen is bright and clear. I like being able to lock the controls because they tend to get pushed when I run if I did not lock.
The sound is really fantastic with ear buds and even better, even using headphones at low prices.
I bought a wireless transmitter (GE) to use in my car, but you have to really crank the volume to get anything out if it. I reckon this may be more a function of the transmitter.
Everything else on the unit is fantastic. Samsung has done a very nice with this player and an FM tuner.
I am a very satisfied user.
