Just pick up one of these Brithday last week for my best friend. Included in the mail well 2 days ago and gave it to my friend yesterday. It instructed bounch music and video clips on her and she absolutely likes.
The product received was acutally a new version of it. It's better than what was described on Amazon. The device does play YouTube video directly. We just downloaded the video on YouTube and copied to the drive. He played seaminglessly. She will try AVI and WMV as well. He did not play WMV movie bought from a website. I suppose that's because it's DRM-protected files. No surprise.
Tried audiobook from OverDrive Media Console and working properly. The quality of sound and video is pretty decent. The only thing that bothers her is that it is a bit cumbersome.
Excellent buy.
On / Off button will not turn off the camera!
Camera freezes and requires hardware reset.
Applying calibration touchscreen sometimes simply decides not to close down.
Touchscreen sensitivity is poor, the accuracy is poorer.
This thing was back in the box with a return shipping mark two hours after I got it.
A shame, because it does not seem to be many other products like it on the market.
